The Fearless Wallet team is excited to announce the launch of Fearless Wallet 2.0. With this new release, Fearless Wallet is now a multi-asset/chain wallet that enables the Polkadot and Kusama community to manage their parachain assets simply and securely in one place. As you may have read at this End of Year Summary, Fearless Wallet 2.0 was submitted for review to Google Play on the 31st of December 2021. In an unprecedented manner, the update was officially released on the 1st of January 2022!

Fearless Wallet 2.0 includes the much-awaited Multi-Asset support features, but it is not the only improvement that this update brings. Fearless Wallet users can now view their crowdloan rewards and asset balances for all of their accounts within one universal wallet screen, or even have multiple sets of accounts in more than one wallet, send and receive all their transferable assets, as well as view their entire transaction history!

Most parachain networks are supported now, except for Genshiro, Statemine, Moonbeam/Moonriver, and Kintsugi. We will announce once they are supported as well.

When we say “entire transaction history” we really mean it. Thanks to the integration with SubQuery, the parachain token history is available for most networks right from the start (except for KILT, Shiden, Khala, and Altair. The history for these networks will be added soon). So far there is no other mobile wallet that has such comprehensive access to tx history.

Let’s address the elephant in the room, Fearless Wallet 2.0 is currently available for Android devices only. Much work is going into finalizing the iOS version, so please bear with us as we prepare the best multi-purpose DeFi wallet possible for you. There is no concrete release date yet, so stay tuned for further updates.

Improved Staking and Crowdloans

Some of the Fearless Wallet features you know and love have also gotten an overhaul. Staking and Crowdloan participation across networks has been made easier, so you can stake and contribute to your preferred choices with the ability to switch between networks right on the Stake and Crowdloan tab in the Fearless Wallet interface.

The release of multi-asset support is only the beginning, the Fearless Wallet team has been working tirelessly with other projects to include even more support and functionality. Coming soon you can expect Moonbeam/Moonriver networks integration, as well as support for Interlay’s Kintsugi network! But it doesn’t end there, other networks that have been slated for integration are Genshiro, and Statemine, so please look forward to their arrival in Fearless Wallet soon.

Fearless Future

The release of Fearless Wallet 2.0 is the culmination of the team’s hard work, but it’s far from over. In upcoming updates, you can expect amazing functionalities added to the multi-asset support, such as improved network and token management, the ability to view unlimited accounts from any chain on one wallet screen, and improved wallet exports!
