In 2023, Fearless Wallet witnessed a year of advancements and transformation, the most important being the integration of Polkaswap, participation in a CBDC PoC, and EVM compatibility. These enhancements have transformed Fearless Wallet into a ‘Swiss army knife’ of cryptocurrency wallets, offering a one-stop solution for managing assets across various networks. The future is multi-chain!
The year has also been marked by significant improvements and new features, equipping you to venture into the Internet of Ownership. With these tools, you’re set to manage your finances with confidence and autonomy, embracing the fearless future!

Browser Extension Launch
With the launch of the Fearless Wallet browser extension, you can now interact with and sign transactions for both Polkadot and Ethereum-based DApps. This expands Fearless Wallet beyond just a mobile DeFi wallet, making it a practical tool for Web3 applications.
It’s a great alternative for signing Substrate (Polkadot) — based transactions on your desktop, bringing the user-friendly experience you’re familiar with from the Fearless mobile app to your Chromium-based browser.
For added security, you can also use your Fearless mobile wallet to sign transactions, eliminating the need to import your account to the browser extension. A great feature!
We’re continually enhancing the browser extension with new features, so watch for updates!
EVM Compatibility
Although Fearless Wallet began with a focus on the Polkadot ecosystem, the user needs and the vision of becoming blockchain agnostic and truly multi-chain led us to implement compatibility for EVM networks. Along with Ethereum, Fearless Wallet supports the BNB chain and Polygon. The list of EVM networks supported will be only growing!
Additionally, Fearless Wallet now supports Wallet Connect for iOS and browser extensions. Dive into EVM DApps with just a QR scan!
With NFT management also in the pipeline, Fearless Wallet is the only app you’ll need to manage your crypto across chains!
New Staking Options: SORA and Ternoa
Staking on Polkadot relay chains can sometimes be cumbersome, with several steps involved and interfaces that aren’t always clear. Fearless Wallet has simplified this by offering staking for Polkadot, Kusama, Westend, Moonbeam, and Moonriver. This year, we’ve extended our staking offerings and added SORA (XOR) and Ternoa (CAPS) native staking, making it straightforward for you to nominate your preferred SORA or Ternoa validators and contribute to the security of these networks.
We plan to add more Polkadot-based chains to our staking options, so keep an eye out for further updates!
Cross-chain Transfers
XCM transfers enable you to move tokens seamlessly across different networks within the Polkadot ecosystem.
Whether you’re an experienced crypto enthusiast or new to the blockchain world, Fearless Wallet now provides a user-friendly interface for conducting these transfers from the comfort of your mobile device!
This year, we’ve also introduced HASHI Substrate bridge functionality. You can now transfer assets between the SORA network and Kusama, and soon, this will extend to more Kusama parachains, enhancing connectivity within the ecosystem.
DEX Integration
A popular request from wallet users has been adding an in-wallet exchange feature for safer and simpler asset trading. Responding to this, we’ve integrated Polkaswap’s ‘Swap’ functionality into Fearless Wallet this year.
Now, you can effortlessly swap SORA assets right from your mobile device. Need to exchange VAL for XOR for staking? It’s quick and easy, all within the familiar Fearless interface.

New Substrate-based Networks
The Polkadot ecosystem is constantly growing, welcoming new networks.
In 2023, we’ve added more Substrate-based networks like Pendulum, Enjin and Canary Matrixchain, Frequency, Bitgreen, Kapex network, and Integritee.

Product Experience
In 2023, among other product improvements, we’ve made managing assets across the 90+ networks supported by Fearless Wallet even easier. We understand that handling multiple networks can be overwhelming at times.
We’ve rolled out a new network management system to streamline this process. This feature is all about making your multi-chain experience more manageable and user-friendly.
You can customise your dashboard to include only the networks you use and love. Opt for managing your assets on a single network or across multiple ones. Lastly, view all your asset details from different networks conveniently on one screen.
This enhancement is part of our ongoing effort to make your experience with Fearless Wallet as smooth and efficient as possible.
PoC CBDC Solution
Fearless Wallet was part of the Bokolo Cash CBDC Proof of Concept in collaboration with the Central Bank of Solomon Islands.
Using Fearless Wallet, PoC participants could transfer Bokolo Cash tokens with QR codes across networks to the Bokolo Cash network of the Solomon Islands Central Bank, mimicking cross-border remittances 🌐
We will continue to work and support the fearless implementation of groundbreaking technologies to improve people’s lives.
